Overview:
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organization in the risk management and insurance services space. They are known for delivering high-quality claims administration and partnering with clients to drive efficient, fair, and timely claim resolutions. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto & General Liability Claims Examiner III to join their team on a Contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity offering stability, autonomy, and the ability to handle complex claims in a professional environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving Commercial Auto, No-Fault/PIP, and General Liability claims from initial review through final disposition. You will play a critical role in evaluating exposure, guiding strategy, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for all stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage claims independently while collaborating with legal counsel and external partners.

What you will be doing:

• Review and interpret policy coverage to determine liability and exposure

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage Commercial Auto, PIP, and General Liability claims

• Direct and coordinate with outside investigators, legal counsel, and vendors

• Maintain accurate claim documentation and ongoing file diaries

• Evaluate claims exposure and establish appropriate reserves

• Develop and communicate settlement strategies and recommendations

• Prepare detailed loss reports covering liability, damages, and coverage

• Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities when applicable

• Provide high-level service and communication to internal and external stakeholders

What you must have:

• 3+ years of experience handling Commercial Auto and General Liability claims

• Strong understanding of claims handling practices, coverage analysis, and litigation management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to evaluate claims, make decisions, and negotiate effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with claims systems and general computer applications

Nice to have:

• Experience with No-Fault/PIP claims

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional claims handling

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

Salary/Rate Range: $40.00 -$45.00 per hour (1,000 hours estimated)
