Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electronics Inspector to support incoming inspection activities for electronic and mechanical components used in a high-quality manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring purchased parts, assemblies, and related documentation meet quality standards and program requirements before entering production. The successful candidate will be highly organized, thorough, and comfortable working in a French-speaking environment, as all training and documentation are provided in French.


What you will be doing:

  • Perform incoming inspection of purchased components, tools, test equipment, and materials to verify compliance with purchase order requirements.

  • Validate that all incoming deliveries are complete, undamaged, and meet quality standards.

  • Review and verify technical documentation, certifications, and drawing revisions.

  • Maintain product traceability and inspection records within the ERP system.

  • Inspect machined parts, subassemblies, and finished assemblies against engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Perform adhesion testing on painted parts and verify plating reports.

  • Use precision measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring equipment (CMM) as required.

  • Perform connector retention, wire tension, and cable continuity inspections.

  • Prepare and follow up on non-conformance reports.

  • Support the Quality Assurance team and assist with research and development activities when required.

  • May provide support in production-related functions based on qualifications and operational needs.


What you must have:

  • DEC, College Diploma, or equivalent in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Aeronautics, or a related technical field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related environment.

  • Experience inspecting incoming electronic or mechanical components.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Familiarity with quality assurance principles and inspection processes.

  • Experience using ERP systems and production databases.

  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-A-620 is considered an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and excellent organizational skills.

  • Fine manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments.

  • Basic English skills are considered an asset.


Salary/Rate Range: $62,000–$74,000 annually
