Overview:
We are seeking two experienced EHR Implementation Project Managers to lead the enterprise-wide implementation of eClinicalWorks across a large, multi-site physician-practice organization. This is a highly visible role responsible for managing the complete implementation lifecycle, including project planning, workflow standardization, data migration, system integrations, testing, training, organizational readiness, go-live support, stabilization, and continued adoption. The position is remote within the United States, with potential travel. Candidates located in or near Philadelphia are strongly preferred.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of eClinicalWorks across a large, multi-site physician-practice organization.

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Coordinate data conversion, validation, and migration from legacy systems.

• Partner with technical teams to oversee interfaces and integrations with ancillary systems.

• Oversee system testing, validation, and organizational-readiness activities before go-live.

• Establish super-user programs to support ongoing EHR adoption and optimization.

• Monitor user-readiness and adoption metrics before and after go-live.

• Coordinate role-based training for providers, clinical staff, and administrative users.

• Partner with training teams to develop curricula, workflows, job aids, and support materials.

• Lead organizational-readiness initiatives and change-adoption strategies.

• Incorporate standardized workflows and best practices to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

• Facilitate steering committees, implementation workgroups, project-status meetings, and executive updates.

• Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, dependencies, and barriers to success.

• Ensure implementation activities align with organizational objectives, budget expectations, and regulatory requirements.

• Serve as the primary contact for physicians, clinical and operational leaders, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.

• Facilitate decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution throughout the implementation.

• Partner with eClinicalWorks consultants, analysts, and application specialists on platform configuration.

• Develop comprehensive go-live strategies and command-center support models.

• Coordinate resources, issue-triage processes, escalation pathways, and onsite or remote support.

• Monitor performance during stabilization and create action plans for improvement.

• Establish implementation KPIs and success metrics.

• Evaluate post-implementation outcomes and identify optimization opportunities.

• Maintain implementation playbooks, governance processes, and lessons-learned documentation.

• Promote standardization, operational excellence, and sustainable EHR adoption across the organization.

What you must have:

• At least five years of healthcare technology implementation experience.

• At least three years of experience leading EHR implementation projects.

• Hands-on experience implementing eClinicalWorks within ambulatory-care or physician-practice environments.

• Demonstrated success managing large, multi-site healthcare implementations.

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient-care operations.

• Experience collaborating with physicians, clinical leadership, operations teams, technical resources, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Proficiency with project-management methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365.

• Ability to independently manage complex projects and competing priorities within a remote environment.

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

• Willingness and ability to travel when required.

Nice to have:

• Experience consolidating multiple EHR systems into a single enterprise platform.

• Experience leading EHR implementations involving more than 200 providers and multiple practice locations.

• Experience with gastroenterology, specialty physician practices, or ambulatory-care organizations.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and interface management.

• Project Management Professional certification.

• Prosci Change Management certification.

Salary/Rate Range: The anticipated contractor pay range is $55.00–$60.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with the position.

Schedule
Candidates must be available to work a standard Monday-through-Friday remote schedule, such as:

• 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

• 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
