What you will be doing:
The successful candidate will provide security architecture leadership for this program. The specific services include but are not limited to the following:

Champions a structured approach to solution architecture.

Architects and designs technical security solutions by focusing on solution-level decisions and analysis of their impact on the overall program goals and outcomes. Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with standards and Enterprise Architect direction as well as the Cybersecurity transformation plan and roadmap.

Provides an advanced level of expertise in managing activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation. Accountable for production and governance approval of Solution Architecture Documents, ensuring alignment to the company's Enterprise Architecture and the overarching IT Strategy through regular collaboration with stakeholders.

Directly supports in the development of solutions architecture. Clearly communicates the essential elements of the overall solution to ensure the business implications of a design can be understood by impacted teams.

Reviews business context for solutions to security challenges as well as defining the lifecycle and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options (which may include RFIs, RFPs, POSs/POVs or prototype development), guiding the selection the most optimal option, and the development of a technical implementation roadmap for the selected solution.

Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. Architects and designs solutions which meet the company's requirements for maintainability and operability.

Communicates the solution to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing architects and other technical leads in the formalization and adoption of IT security standards and procedures.

Where and as required, leads architecture discussions with related IT programs such IT Resiliency and IT Refresh.
What you must have:
-
IT security architecture experience is a must-have.
-
Must have 7+ years of implementation/consulting experience in a security-focused role with an emphasis on hands-on secure technical architecture and implementation work in a team setting.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
-
Expert with hands-on infosec and IT resiliency practices for applications, infrastructure, networks, hypervisors/servers, cloud infrastructure and endpoints.

Direct experience in or strong knowledge of the following areas: Intrusion prevention and detection processes and technologies; Security threat-risk assessments; User end-point security; Secure Application Development; Network security; Infrastructure vulnerability management; Data Loss Protection; Cloud security (IaaS/SaaS/PaaS); Identity and Access Management; User Entity Behavior Analytics; Data security; DAST & SAST, DR & BCP.

Advanced knowledge of the theories, principles, practices, and techniques pertaining to Solution Architecture, with demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical solutions.

Hands-on and in-depth experience with network and application-level design security including modern mitigation techniques and best practices.

Advanced knowledge of coaching and mentoring teams on Solution Architect concepts and methodology.

Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to provide specialized guidance and expertise to managers, staff and customers; and to develop and manage critical relationships at all levels in the enterprise.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to handle conflict resolution, facilitating discussion and alternatives of different approaches.

Solid leadership skills with ability to manage and influence direct or indirect reporting staff, and to provide specialized guidance and expertise to all levels of the organization.

Solid planning, organization, and time management skills with strong ability to organize competing priorities.
-
Experience with PCI DSS, NIST CSF and NIST 800-53 control frameworks is highly desired.

Information Security Certifications in one or more of the following are an asset: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISP, GSNA, GSE, CSP, SSCP, Security+
Salary/Rate: $126.00/ hour
