What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables

  • Manage multiple concurrent finance modernization and technology initiatives

  • Coordinate activities between the CFO, Finance team, internal departments, technology vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders

  • Lead planning and coordination for the Sage 300 upgrade and related financial system modernization initiatives

  • Coordinate system configuration, testing, implementation, staff training, documentation, and deployment activities

  • Facilitate project status meetings and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and required decisions

  • Identify project risks and provide practical recommendations to senior leadership

  • Support change management, training, communications, and implementation planning

  • Develop and document business and functional requirements for future ERP and financial technology solutions

  • Support cost benefit analysis and business case development for future technology investments

  • Coordinate system integrations designed to reduce manual data entry and improve financial data accuracy

  • Work with internal teams and vendors to design, test, and implement automated workflows and system integrations

  • Coordinate testing and implementation of electronic payment solutions

  • Support the evaluation and procurement of future ERP, HR, and payroll platforms

  • Develop evaluation criteria, requirements, procurement documentation, and supporting materials

  • Coordinate vendor evaluations, software demonstrations, contract discussions, and implementation planning


What you must have:

  • Strong Project Management experience with finance transformation, ERP, financial systems, or enterprise technology implementations

  • Demonstrated experience managing financial system upgrades, implementations, integrations, or modernization projects

  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes including general ledger, month end close, financial reporting, and related workflows

  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements

  • Experience coordinating system integrations and automated workflows across multiple departments

  • Experience managing technology vendors, consultants, and internal business stakeholders

  • Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and status reporting experience

  • Experience supporting software evaluations, procurement processes, vendor demonstrations, and implementation planning

  • Ability to manage several concurrent initiatives with changing priorities

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work onsite at OECTA's Toronto office as required


Salary/Rate Range: $88.00 - $98.00 per hour
