Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join an onsite wellness center. The CMA will support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care while assisting with clinical and administrative responsibilities.

What you will be doing:

• Support the acute care line and prepare patients for examinations

• Room patients and obtain and document vital signs

• Review and document patient histories, symptoms, and medications

• Perform point-of-care testing and accurately record results

• Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens as needed

• Process and send patient referrals as required

• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures

• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed

• Update patient information in the electronic medical record

• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms

• Assist other team members when time allows

• Follow infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards

• Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care

What you must have:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant credential

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

• Experience with phlebotomy, vital signs, and point-of-care testing

• Current Basic Life Support certification

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-service skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment

Other Information:

• Work Environment: Onsite wellness center setting.

• Shift: The schedule for this role would vary depending on the day: Monday 7am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-4pm, Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 8am-6pm.  This position would also require every 5th Saturday 8am-12pm.
