Overview:
Locumly is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Family or Adult Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity supporting a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) clinic in North Carolina. This daytime outpatient role focuses on delivering high-quality, comprehensive primary care to frail and elderly participants, helping them live safely and independently in their community. This is an ideal position for a local clinician looking for a predictable schedule and meaningful clinical work.
What you will be doing:

Provide autonomous primary medical care, comprehensive health assessments, and chronic disease management for geriatric patients.

Formulate and update individualized treatment plans within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Evaluate and manage acute health changes, order appropriate diagnostic testing, and prescribe medications.

Collaborate with on-site clinical leadership and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuous, coordinated care.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for all patient encounters.
What you must have:

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP).

Active, unrestricted North Carolina state NP license (or willingness to obtain).

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with frail or elderly populations (experienced candidates only; no new graduates).

Active DEA registration, CDS certification, and BLS certification.

Local candidates commutable to the regional clinic area (mileage reimbursement provided).

Schedule & Setting

Practice Setting: Outpatient PACE clinic environment.

Shift Schedule: Standard day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Coverage Period: Ongoing coverage starting as soon as credentialed, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of up to 45 days.
