About the Facility
OSCI is a medium-custody, 24-hour healthcare facility with a medically complex patient population. In addition to routine and emergent healthcare services, the facility operates a Long-Term Care Unit and Palliative Care Program.
Because many patients have significant ongoing healthcare needs, Registered Nurses are critical to maintaining continuity and safety of care. Nurses function not only as direct caregivers but also as care managers and patient care navigators, coordinating services and helping patients move appropriately through their healthcare plans.
