What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Coordinators to build and maintain master project schedules that reflect resource availability, project milestones, and contractual deadlines.

  • Maintain real-time visibility of labor availability, equipment lead times, and subcontractor schedules to optimize deployment.

  • Integrate internal and external dependencies (materials, site readiness, customer constraints) into schedules and proactively adjust plans as needed.

  • Support operations leadership with capacity planning, forecasting field labor needs based on active and upcoming project demands.

  • Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect changes in scope, manpower, delivery, or field conditions.

  • Analyze potential cost and timeline impacts due to changes in schedule or resource availability and provide recommendations.

  • Provide timely reports and updates to stakeholders on scheduling risks and changes; escalate conflicts that impact revenue or customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure project scheduling aligns with contract terms and GC-driven deadlines.

  • Coordinate with Procurement and Field Leadership to validate material and labor readiness for each phase of work.

  • Participate in project startup meetings and weekly operational check-ins to validate scheduling assumptions and constraints.

  • Maintain accurate records of changes, decisions, and communications related to project scheduling.

  • Act as “our customer’s best service provider” by ensuring reliable project timelines and communicating changes early and often.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

 

What you must have:

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software

  • Excellent attention to detail and timeline management

  • Ability to communicate effectively across functions, including sales, operations, and field teams

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; comfortable managing multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously

  • Understanding of how labor and schedule changes impact project costs and profitability

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proactive mindset—identifies bottlenecks before they become delays

  • Adaptable and solution-oriented in a fast-paced project environment

  • Knowledge of construction schedules, critical path method (CPM) principles, and general contracting workflows is a plus
