Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional with strong knowledge in the design, operation, testing, and maintenance of relay protection equipment and related substation systems. This role involves supporting customers through technical expertise, demonstrations, and training, while also contributing to product improvement initiatives and technical documentation.


What you will be doing:

• Provide technical support for relay, CT, and high-current products through site visits, demonstrations, and training (on-site and remote)

• Prepare application notes and technical manuals in collaboration with subject matter experts

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support to help meet business goals

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Experience in power system protection and testing of breakers, CTs, and relays preferred

• Familiarity with utility substation design, maintenance, and protection/control practices

• Ability to travel up to 25% for customer visits and technical conferences/seminars

• Interest in learning basic scripting in automated testing software

• Strong ability to create and edit technical documents

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment

• Background in testing both electromechanical and microprocessor-based protection relays

• Familiarity with breaker curves and power system coordination studies

• Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g., Visual Basic or similar)

• Knowledge of IEC 61850 standards in relaying applications and testing

Salary/Rate Range: $100,000 - $115,000
