Overview:
Our client is seeking experienced Full-Time Instructors to join their electrical training team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training programs to professionals in the electrical utility and industrial sectors. This includes preparing and delivering lectures, leading hands-on lab sessions, moderating classroom discussions, and evaluating student performance. Instructors will also play a key role in improving existing courses and developing new programs aligned with industry standards such as NFPA 70/70B/70E, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, and OSHA.
What you will be doing:

Deliver custom and standard training sessions in both classroom and laboratory environments

Prepare lectures, direct lab exercises, and administer/grade examinations

Lead discussions and ensure an engaging, professional learning environment

Apply industry standards to training content and lab safety
-
Develop new training programs and improve existing courses to meet customer needs

Travel to customer locations as required to deliver training
What you must have:
-
10+ years of instruction, public speaking, or training experience in adult education (preferred)
-
Journeyman or Master’s Electrical License (preferred)
-
15+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas (preferred):

Low-voltage industrial installation and troubleshooting
-
Low-voltage residential installation and troubleshooting
-
Low-voltage electronics installation and troubleshooting
-

Strong knowledge of:
-
Electrical and electronic theory, wiring methods, conductor ampacity
-
Electrical hazards, safe work practices, and PPE requirements
-
Electric motor controls, PLCs, drives, LV & MV motors, and relay control schemes
-
Electrical print reading, one-line diagrams, and circuit breaker maintenance
-
Overcurrent protection, voltage drop, neutral load, and related calculations
-

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe

Skilled in use of basic hand tools

Strong communication, organizational, and customer relations skills
-
Valid driver’s license and passport (required)

Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

Safety-first mindset in both classroom and lab settings

Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively for training assignments
Salary/Rate Range: $35.00 - $55.00
