Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects in the area of cable testing and diagnostics systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and long-term use of specialized products and services. Acting as a bridge between customers and technical teams, you will provide support, troubleshooting, and guidance to help clients achieve their desired outcomes. A key focus will be assisting with customer specifications for customized mobile testing systems, managing production schedules, and coordinating communication with clients from project initiation through implementation. Knowledge of underground cable testing and diagnostics within the North American utility space is highly desired.



What you will be doing:
Client Onboarding

  • Lead onboarding for new customers, ensuring smooth transition from sales to implementation.

  • Understand client needs, tailor configurations, and provide training to support adoption of customized systems.

Customer Support & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction.

Product Customization & Optimization

  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement customer-specific requirements.

  • Provide feedback to support continuous product improvement.

  • Assist with system adjustments as customer needs evolve.

Project & Account Growth

  • Drive retention by ensuring customers achieve measurable value.

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Support renewals by demonstrating ROI and system effectiveness.

Customer Advocacy

  • Represent customer needs to internal teams.

  • Contribute insights for product strategy and development.

  • Foster a customer-first culture.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track usage, performance, and satisfaction metrics.

  • Provide reports on customer health, risks, and opportunities.

  • Use data to identify trends and resolve issues proactively.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in project management or account management, ideally with complex or custom systems.

  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

  • Familiarity with cable testing methods such as partial discharge (PD) testing, Very Low Frequency (VLF) testing, Tan Delta, and cable fault location.

  • Experience managing projects exceeding $1M, particularly in utilities or electrical equipment sectors.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and project/customer management tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Passion for customer success and delivering value-driven outcomes.


Salary/Rate Range: $120,000 - $150,000
