Overview:
The Senior Customs Analyst ensures compliance with customs regulations while identifying duty and tariff relief opportunities. This role partners closely with Trade Compliance and Shipping teams, acting as the go-to expert on customs matters, classifications, and regulatory requirements. Strong experience with free trade agreements, country-of-origin determinations, and export controls is key to supporting compliance and risk mitigation.


What you will be doing:

• Serve as the main point of contact for customs and international trade compliance

• Ensure adherence to trade regulations, tariffs, and customs programs

• Determine accurate HS classifications and verify tariff treatments (B3 level)

• Advise on customs strategies for temporary and permanent shipments

• Support USMCA/CUSMA compliance, rules of origin, and Certificates of Origin

• Provide guidance on duties, drawbacks, audits, and recordkeeping

• Partner with logistics, legal, and trade teams on complex customs matters

• Monitor regulatory changes and report compliance risks

What you must have:

• 5+ years of experience in customs or trade compliance

• CCS, Licensed Customs Broker, or equivalent certification

• Strong knowledge of HS classification, FTAs, Incoterms, and customs regulations

• Experience with Canadian and U.S. export controls (ITAR, EAR, CGP)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills

• Bilingual (French/English) preferred

Salary/Rate Range: $90,000–$110,000 annually
