Overview:
We are conducting a high-priority search for an experienced Senior Real Time Embedded Firmware Engineer. In this full-time, direct hire, onsite permanent position for our extremely successful, established and innovative client. This senior role will lead/perform design and development of high-performance, real-time systems for cutting-edge commercial products focused on action sports, as well as lead and mentor less experienced engineers.


What you will be doing:

• Design and develop real time embedded software using C++ and collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, and application developers to develop and integrate firmware with other systems for commercial products.

What you must have:

• B.S. in related field with 6+ years of experience in real-time embedded Linux systems development in C++.

• Experience with performance for product-critical applications, and some exposure to “bare-metal” development.

• Proven experience interfacing with components such as DDR, Flash Memory, I2C, SPI, RTOS, LVDS, and timing, and understanding their interactions in real-time systems.

• Work Environment: The onsite office is very relaxed, shorts/flip flops, with culture fit being a huge factor in hiring. People assimilate and work well together. Some hybrid possible following acclimation.

 
Salary/Rate Range: $120,000 - $150,000 (plus 15% annual bonus)
