Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside
Sales/Operations professional to join our dynamic team. In this multifaceted role, you will be the cornerstone of our operations, responsible for facilitating communication between various branches, supporting our outside sales representatives, and ensuring that customer needs are met effectively and efficiently.


What you will be doing:

• Collaborate closely with outside sales staff to service existing accounts through phone and email communication.

• Receive, process, and manage incoming customer orders, demonstrating a keen understanding of each customer’s specific needs to deliver tailored solutions.

• Provide professional quotes and share recommendations on pricing and availability to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage purchasing processes, and monitor stocks across various programs.

• Organize daily shipments and create sales, mill, and production orders, coordinating with multiple shipping companies to ensure timely delivery.

• Check off shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispatch.

• Run weekly and daily reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

• Effectively manage consignment inventories across several states, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking.

• Stay informed about product knowledge to enhance customer interactions and provide effective solutions.

• Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

What you must have:

• You are detail-oriented and possess strong independent working capabilities paired with excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential.

• Experience in product transportation coordination is a plus.

• A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to company safety policies is a must.
