Overview:
We're hiring a Senior PM for a New Jersey based client to drive key workstreams within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation, the primary focus will be on the Make (Manufacturing/Production) functional area. This person needs proven expertise in both Windchill PLM and SAP S/4HANA and will serve as a critical link between the Make and Plan teams to ensure seamless integration, data alignment, and on-time delivery of project milestones.


What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage the Make workstream within the SAP S/4HANA implementation, covering Production Planning (PP), Manufacturing Execution, Shop Floor Control, and related sub-modules.

  • Partner closely with the Plan team to align demand planning, MRP, and production scheduling processes across the integrated S/4HANA landscape.

  • Drive fit-gap analysis, blueprint documentation, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Own the Make workstream project plan, budget tracking, risk/issue log, and status reporting to program leadership. Windchill PLM Integration

  • Manage the integration between Windchill PLM and SAP S/4HANA, ensuring Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and product data flow seamlessly between systems.

  • Coordinate with PLM architects and SAP integration leads to define interface requirements, data mapping, and middleware configurations.

  • Oversee testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) for PLM-to-SAP data exchanges and resolve cross-system defects.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Make and Plan functional leads, business process owners, and IT leadership.

  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, steering committee presentations, and change management activities.

  • Manage third-party consultants, system integrators, and offshore/nearshore delivery resources as applicable.

  • Drive adoption of project governance standards, SDLC methodology, and reporting cadences.

Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation plans and escalation paths.

  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness assessments, and post-go-live hypercare activities.


What you must have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in enterprise ERP implementations, with at least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementations.

  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules including PP, MM, QM, and integration points with SD and FICO.

  • Proven experience managing Windchill PLM implementations or PLM-to-ERP integration projects.

  • Strong understanding of BOM management, Engineering Change Management, and product lifecycle processes.

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams spanning Make, Plan, Source, and Deliver.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification preferred.


Nice to have:

  • Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing (Digital Manufacturing, Embedded PP/DS, MES integration).

  • Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP or middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) for PLM-ERP connectivity.

  • Background in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer health, or chemicals.

  • Experience with Agile/hybrid delivery methodologies within large transformation programs.

  • Prior experience with SAP Activate methodology.

  • APICS/CPIM or similar supply chain certification is a plus.
