Overview: We are partnering with our innovative and established adventure/sports products manufacturing client to locate an experienced and savvy Trade Compliance SME. In this full-time, direct hire, onsite permanent leadership position, with a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, you will be the senior authority responsible for overseeing the company’s global:
- Import Compliance (Strong)
- Export Compliance (Advanced Working Knowledge)
- Strategy, Leadership & Governance
- Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance
- Risk Management, Audits & Regulatory Engagement
- Systems, Data & Transformation
What you should have:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in international trade compliance within a multinational organization, global consulting firm, or law firm.
- Education: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, JD, or LL.M. in International Trade) preferred or a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Law, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Regulatory Expertise:
- Customs and import compliance (core)
- Export controls under ITAR and EAR
- OFAC sanctions compliance
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB).
Salary/Rate Range: $175K - $200K (plus 20% annual bonus)
