What you will be doing:

• Acts as the primary liaison between assigned clinical areas and project teams and fosters a positive working relationship within and among these teams

• Acts as a first line resource for assigned clinical area issues and escalates as appropriate. Participates in assigned area’s clinical leadership meetings and regularly meets with the IT/SME group as defined by that area

• Participates in the management of clinical and non-clinical application implementation projects.

• Participates in the development and presentation of project charters, project plans, timelines and communication plans.

• Demonstrates a moderate understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices in the areas of assigned support

• Perform detailed needs/workflow analyses in response to user requests for new or additional functionality.

• Assesses clinical staff training needs (with respect to technology) and develops plans to meet these needs. Develops and maintains application support and training documentation; participates in the delivery of end user training. Coordinates and provides clinical staff technology training, as required.

• Acts as a consultant to end users, promoting effective use of applications.

• Assesses, documents, prioritizes, coordinates and resolves operational issues related to clinical technology utilization.

• Updates nursing on upcoming changes to their technology environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
