Overview:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides advanced vocational nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral needs. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the overall health, safety, and well-being of residents.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and ongoing monitoring

• Educate patients on medications and care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided

• Perform computer-based data entry (training provided)

• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including:

  • ICF-IID Regulations

  • DSSLC Policies and Procedures

  • HHSC Standards and Guidelines

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes

What you must have:

• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
