What you will be doing:

• Lead supplier development and quality initiatives across the supply base

• Drive APQP and PPAP processes to ensure successful product launches

• Work closely with suppliers to improve processes, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement

• Conduct supplier audits, run-at-rate reviews, and support safe launch activities

• Partner with engineering, operations, and purchasing teams on new and existing programs

• Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related issues

• Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and ongoing quality metrics

• Support new supplier sourcing and development alongside the corporate purchasing team

• Travel to suppliers across Canada and the US:  Ohio, Michigan, Windsor, Hamilton, and Oshawa

What you must have:

• 5+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis

• Experience with supplier audits and process validation

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or equivalent)

• Ability to travel within the region as required

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
