Base Salary Range: $80000 - $95000

What you will be doing:
Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including GL review, coding, and bank/credit card reconciliations

• Lead month-end close, including GST/HST filings and working papers

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with accounting standards

• Support year-end audit, including audit schedules, documentation, and auditor inquiries

Team Support & Leadership

• Provide guidance, training, and review of work for junior accounting staff

• Collaborate with the Controller on financial reporting and special projects

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Stay current with CPA standards, ASPE/IFRS, and industry best practices

What you must have:

• CPA designation (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role

• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end, and audit preparation

• Strong experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures

• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Construction or real estate industry experience is an asset

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 - $95,000
