Overview: 
We are seeking a contractor to support the modernization of safety data and reporting platforms, with a strong focus on analytics, data modeling collaboration, and Microsoft-based data collection solutions. This role will act as a key business point of contact working closely with IT and internal stakeholders.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Safety Data Model Collaboration

    • Serve as the primary business point of contact working with IT to develop and evolve the Safety data model in SAP Datasphere

    • Provide requirements, validation, and design input; IT will be responsible for building the data model

  • Reporting & Analytics

    • Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to replace existing Tableau reports

    • Ensure reports align with business requirements, data governance standards, and usability expectations

  • Safety Data Collection Solutions

    • Design and develop safety data collection tools using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint

    • Support integration of these tools with downstream reporting and analytics solutions

  • Modernization of Legacy Tools

    • Assess and modernize existing complex safety data collection tools

    • Lead the replacement of legacy solutions with streamlined, scalable Power Apps–based solutions

  • AI & Innovation

    • Explore and evaluate potential AI-enabled applications to improve efficiency, automation, and insights across safety-related processes

 

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline 

  • Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken

  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including:

    • Star schemas

    • Snowflake schemas

    • Dimensional modeling principles

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including:

    • Data modeling and relationships

    • Report and dashboard development

    • Performance and usability best practices

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint)

  • Ability to work effectively as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams

 

Salary /Rate Range: $53.00 -$65.00 per hour


Term: 12-month contract; most likely to extend
