Overview:
Performs the assembly of electromechanical products. May also be required to perform production support and general helper tasks. Level of Responsibility: Structured work processes. Some analysis is required before independently selecting from known procedures.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare components
- Perform component tinning
- Manually assemble through-hole (TH) and surface-mount technology (SMT) components on printed circuit boards
- Operate and adjust automated assembly and inspection equipment
- Prepare, handle, and use polymer-based products for component bonding
- Install cables
- Mechanically integrate modules, flex circuits, and printed circuit boards
- Inspect, verify, and validate the compliance of certain tasks performed by colleagues
- Support research and development activities
- Perform other related tasks as required
What you must have:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of tolerances and geometric dimensioning principles
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
- Ability to retrieve and enter data using computer systems
- Experience using production databases
- Fine manual dexterity
- Good knowledge of French
- Basic knowledge of English is considered an asset
- DEC or DEP in one of the following fields: electromechanics, mechanical, aeronautics, or equivalent
- Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience
Salary/Rate Range: $63,000 to $72,000
