CT / X-Ray Tech Opportunity – 3-Day Weekend Schedule | Local & Travel Candidates Welcome!

We are seeking a versatile and patient-focused CT / X-Ray Technologist for a unique hybrid role working a balanced 50/50 mix of Cannon CT and General X-Ray. This is an excellent opportunity for both local professionals seeking work-life balance and travelers looking for a consistent weekend schedule with strong hours.

Schedule:
Friday – Sunday
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
(Work only 3 days and enjoy 4 days off each week!)

In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates must be comfortable floating between CT and X-Ray responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-Ray imaging procedures
  • Operate Cannon CT equipment and radiographic imaging systems safely and efficiently
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging processes, and ease patient concerns
  • Review and evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification
  • Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture procedures in accordance with policy and licensure
  • Assist physicians with fluoroscopic and specialized imaging procedures when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety, infection prevention, and radiation protection standards
  • Float to X-Ray duties up to 50% of the time based on department needs
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians and clinical teams

CT-Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures utilizing established protocols
  • Manipulate image display parameters and maintain archival storage of imaging data
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy including head, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging
  • Safely administer contrast and monitor patients throughout procedures
  • Maintain competency in CT imaging protocols and equipment operation

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT Certification (CT)
  • Current OBMI License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and administer contrast safely
  • Strong flexibility and willingness to float between CT and X-Ray
