What you will be doing:

• Schedule development and control

• Cost control and forecasting

• Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Prepares monthly cost and schedule reports (PBI) for investment governance.

• Identify errors or inconsistencies in cost and schedule data and coordinates corrections with project team.

• Verify contractor progress claims against physical progress.

• Support risk management, change control and stakeholder communication

• Preparing/assisting project documents preparation at various stages of project during its life cycle.

 

What you must have:

• At least five years of progressively responsible work experience in project controls with large capital projects, preferably, with electrical utility sector experience.

• Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project and/or proficiency with Primavera Version 6.

• Functional knowledge of SAP Enterprise Management System input and reporting. 

• Ability ion tracking multiple projects simultaneously. Strong ability to develop,maintain, and analyse integrated project schedules including critical path and schedule risk.

•  Ability in tracking costs and efforts spent of each project. Proficient in budget establishment, cost tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting across multi?year capital projects.

• Experience in applying earned value management to assess performance against baseline scope, schedule, and cost.

• Maintain project schedules and progress. Change and baseline management.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven team player with experience providing leadership, support and consultation.
