Overview:
On behalf of our Legal Client, we are seeking a Corporate Records Clerk in Vancouver. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Canadian experience. We are looking for a candidate that is eager to learn and grow, is detailed and hardworking. The position will require minute book and annual reports experience. Experience with minute books real and virtual is needed for this role. What you will be doing:

Preparation of annual reports and annual consent resolutions for B.C. and Federal corporations, societies and maintenance of extra-provincial registrations across Canada

Maintaining the Annual Maintenance Bring Forward system

Incorporation and organization of B.C. corporations and extra-provincial registrations
-
Preparing corporate legal documents, such as changes in directors, officers and registered office address
-
Handling general updates to minute books
-
Processing share transfers, transmissions, dividends and redemptions
-
Conducting corporate due diligence searches
-
Updating ALF database
-
Other administrative support as required
What you must have:
-
Experience handling annual corporate maintenance

Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal program

Working knowledge of ALF and BC Online

Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills

Advanced computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook

Keyboarding at a minimum of 60 wpm

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately

Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail to produce high quality and accurate work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member in a team environment

Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to learn and to adapt to changing demands

A high level of initiative and resourcefulness

Ability to prioritize tasks by deadline, work calmly under pressure and manage high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
Salary/Rate Range: $62,000-$72,000
