Overview:
Our client in beautiful Central Illinois is seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist for an on-going assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a great income working 1 week per month or more! Our client would prefer two or more weeks per month but are flexible. You will need to be able to provide a full week of coverage for the weeks you choose to work.


What you will be doing:
Procedures/scope - Including but not limited to the standard general anesthesiologist scope of practice such as:

• General

• Spinal

• Epidural

• Regional blocks

• MAC

• Blood patches

Patient mix: 95% adult
Average number of cases per day in facility: 30
Schedule:

• M-F 7a - 3p (weekday shift)

  • 2nd call from 3p-10p

• Weekend Shift (every 5th weekend): 7a-3p

  • 2nd call from 3p-10p

• Full time available

• On-going (at least 6 months+)

• No first call

Facility:

• 200 Beds

• Trauma Level II

• EMR: EPIC

• Number of physicians in department: 5

• Anesthesia Techs: 4

What you must have:

• MD or DO, board certified in Anesthesiology or truly board eligible (within 2 years of residency completion).

• Active Illinois license

• BLS

• CSR/DEA

Other Information:

• Pay Rate: $400/hour or higher

• Travel, housing, rental car paid

• Malpractice paid
