Overview:
The Training Coordinator Consultant is responsible for training scheduling and registration process, and the liaison with the sector admin representative to assure all of the sectors end users are registered for the correct training sessions.


What you will be doing:

  • Main contact for training registration for a one of the three sectors. They will liaison with sector admins

  • Assist in the creation and management of manual registration spreadsheets.

  • Updates, uploads, and links to all the appropriate course material to be put on the sector websites.

  • Maintain their sector website.

  • Assist the training lead in end user mapping for their respective sector.

  • Maintain and produce all training attendance tracking reports for Training Team Lead

  • Send and maintain all training invitations determine plan to use Outlook or other tools with sector training admins and training team lead.

  • Verify completion of prerequisites for training, maintain attendance records of training.

  • Communicate attendance to designated parties, print out course evaluation results as needed.

  • Collect end-user feedback and communicate to Training Team Leads, Communicate any issues or problems with scheduling.


What you must have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ previous experience as a Training Coordinator on projects.

  • Strong Excel experience, working with formulas and pivot tables.

  • Strong organization skills

  • Strong SharePoint skills.

  • MS Teams and Outlook knowledge and experience.

  • Team player able to communicate effectively in diverse teams.

  • Excellent communication skills - listening, written and oral; and

  • Ability to plan and prioritize work.


Nice to have:

  • Detail oriented – experience in fast paced projects.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.

  • A self-starter, flexible, can adapt to constant change.

  • Must be able to work as a team member and work independently.

  • Ability to function working remotely, participating in multiple MS Team meetings.

  • Prior experience working with Government/Public Sector SAP projects.


Other Information:

  • Work to be carried out remotely from the Consultant’s office, a government laptop and email will be provided but the consultant will be required to use their own cell phone.

  • The Consultant must have access to high-speed internet services to enable remote/off-site work.

  • The Consultant must be available to attend meetings remotely and on the rare occasion there may be a requirement to travel to Halifax.  Preference will be given to local candidates.


Term: 9-month contract
