Overview:
Our client, a recognized world leader in heavy lifting and engineered transport is seeking a Project Engineer for their Edmonton office location. With state of the art equipment, value-added engineering and a top-tier team of professionals they offer their customers creative solutions for today's heavy lift and transport challenges. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Engineering Manager. As a Project Engineer you will be tasked with ensuring the maintenance department is provided with exceptional service. 


What you will be doing:

• Design and develop engineering drawings, such as lifting plans, rigging plans and transport arrangements

• Produce equipment calculations and operational procedures

• Stamp Drawings according to requirements and design

• Supervise On-site operations if required

• Responsible for executing engineering on site

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or civil engineering or equivalent experience

• Professional Engineer, Licensed in ON, or any other Engineering Order in Canada

• 1 - 5 years' of experience as a project engineer or project manager in the heavy lifting industry, crane or transportation.

• Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

• Experienced with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

• 3D software knowledge

Salary/Rate Range: $115,000 - $125,000
