Overview:
Our client is a leader in designing, building, suppling and servicing stormwater and wastewater pump stations throughout Western Canada. For over 40 years they have used their pump station expertise with engineers, contractors and end users to reduce project risk and give peace of mind! They are seeking a dedicated Service Plumber who is well-versed in safe work procedures and possesses a Red Seal plumbing ticket with mechanical and plumbing service experience. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys learning and working in a dynamic team environment.  This is a full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30 PM position with occasional overtime. This position is based out of our facility in Port Coquitlam.


What you will be doing:

• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and equipment start-ups on sanitary and storm pump stations at residential, commercial, and municipal sites

• Demonstrate an understanding of technical equipment such as pumps, controls, and valves

• Prepare accurate quotes/orders and detailed reports for customers

• Adhere to safety standards, regulations, and local codes

• Communicate effectively with customers and ensuring their satisfaction

• Schedule and coordinate site visits

• Support the production and shipping team when required

• Handle basic office administration tasks

• Assist accounting with collecting on overdue service accounts when required

What you must have:

• Team-focused, positive and motivated attitude

• Red Seal ticketed plumber with submersible pump and controls experience

• Familiar with worksite safety procedures and confined space requirements

• Natural leader and self-starter

• Basic computer skills

• Function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a high attention to detail

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Safety and customer service mindset

• Excellent attendance record

• Valid driver’s license

• Comfortable working with wastewater and confined spaces

• Ability and comfortable to lift up to 50lbs

Salary/Rate Range: $93,600 - $104,000
