Director of Clinical Services

Our client seeks an experienced and compassionate Director of Clinical Services to lead and oversee 24/7 high-quality clinical care for patients across multiple settings. This leadership role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, developing innovative policies, and fostering an environment of excellence in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. Setting: Outpatient clinic

Population: Geriatrics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 24/7 delivery of high-quality, patient-centered clinical care across all service areas.

  • Lead interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely patient assessments, care plans, and exceptional outcomes.

  • Collaborate with HR and management for staff recruitment, training, and performance oversight.

  • Develop and oversee effective on-call processes in collaboration with the Medical Director.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, monitor data, and implement improvement strategies.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.

  • Engage with associations and committees to stay abreast of healthcare best practices and regulatory updates.

  • Promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and financial reports to ensure efficient resource utilization.

  • Oversee infection control measures, ensuring adherence to best practices.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active State RN license with proven leadership experience in healthcare delivery and management.

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master’s degree in management or healthcare-related fields is preferred.

  • Professional certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience working with frail or elderly populations in acute, long-term care, or community-based settings.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and minimum state-required liability auto insurance. (Required to float through different sites).

  • Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Familiarity with quality improvement processes and data tracking systems.

  • Experience in home care, managed care, or long-term care is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of elder care services, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary team models.

  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion principles in healthcare.
