You will act as a subject matter expert in areas such as new product development, sustainment projects, applications engineering, and code compliance. This position also involves authoring technical documentation, overseeing administrative processes, and mentoring junior engineers. What you will be doing:
Production Engineering

Collaborate with factory shop teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Maintain and manage engineering data within ERP systems.

Lead projects related to cost reduction, product improvement, and process enhancements.
Technical Documentation
-
Draft and review technical materials such as Technical Service Bulletins, Factory Letters, and marketing publications.

Work with cross-functional teams to communicate technical insights effectively.
Administrative Functions

Participate in the Engineering Change Order process, including technical guidance, drawing reviews, and documentation preparation.

Coordinate special design requests, including designs, drawings, and bills of materials.

Ensure compliance with ASME and UL standards and other relevant codes.
Product Development

Provide product development support as a consultant for new and existing projects.
Engineering Support
-
Offer troubleshooting assistance for maintenance, factory support, and product development teams as needed.
What you must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience with thermal systems and industrial machinery, including exposure to steel construction, piping and ducting, combustion systems, fans and pumps, and electrical controls.

Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent programs.

Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills.

Preferred experience with ASME BPVC design, UL standards, or similar regulatory compliance.
Physical Demands

Ability to sit and work at a keyboard for extended periods.

Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

May involve climbing stairs and using close, distance, and color vision for extended durations.

Regularly required to hear, talk, and interpret instructions.
