Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Systems Analyst II to join our team and contribute to a high-priority Point of Sale (POS) implementation project. In this role, you will play a vital part in defining processes, gathering and analyzing requirements, and driving innovative solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. As a Business Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will focus on process improvement, operational support, and stakeholder engagement. If you are a results-driven Business Systems Analyst with a passion for delivering impactful solutions, we encourage you to apply and join a team where your contributions will make a difference.

What you will be doing:

  • Additionally, you will perform business process analysis, gap analysis, and solution evaluations while documenting project scope and business requirements.

  • Your role will also include creating process models and workflows that define both current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) states, helping to drive organizational efficiency.

  • Operationally, you will manage individual tasks or sub-projects, propose and document solutions for improving business processes, and define business rules to address data quality issues.

  • You will facilitate testing by developing and executing test cases, ensuring the solution meets original requirements. Communication will be a key aspect of your role as you work with stakeholders to ensure alignment, monitor requirements documentation, and evaluate project impact in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality assurance, and training.

What you must have:

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least four years of experience in business analysis.

  • A PMI Professional in Business Analysis certification (or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Strong technical writing and requirements-gathering skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in process documentation, stakeholder alignment, and project execution is highly valued.

  • This position requires analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

  • You should excel in multitasking, attention to detail, and service-oriented collaboration. The role is primarily office-based, with desk work requiring frequent computer use and occasional standing and walking.
