Our client  is excited to add new talent to their team and has the following position available in Saint Paul, MN!


What you will be doing:

  • Effectively supervise and manage industrial service team members and projects at customer sites

  • Actively work with existing customers to maximize current and future sales opportunities

  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance for the oil and gas industry

  • Conduct daily cleanup tasks involving solid and liquid hazardous and non-hazardous material in an efficient and professional manner

  • Understand and perform confined space entry (CSE) procedures and act as an Entry Supervisor when staff are cleaning and decontaminating solid and liquid hazardous and non-hazardous materials

  • Prepare and/or review project deliverables including work plans, project reports, bidding specifications, and other correspondence using technical writing and analysis skills

  • Prepare both individual project proposals and support or lead large-scale company proposal efforts

  • Collaboratively work and coordinate with other staff to problem solve and produce high quality creative solutions for our customers

  • Make frequent customer/client contact and prepare project status reports • Manage project financial performance, prepare client invoices, and review and approve subcontractor invoices

  • Perform field safety audits, kickoff field work, or meet with clients, and other project stakeholders

  • Participate in Bay West’s Emergency Response Program as a Lead On-Call

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to field staff

  • Provide professional direction and guidance in career development

  • Prepare detailed instructions for field staff and direct their project work

  • Schedule staff for individual projects, make decisions about future staffing, and provide succession planning feedback

  • Assist with staff on job enhancement tools, such as Document Locator, PDF Factory Pro, Teams, Tool Watch and Costpoint

  • Understand and communicate results regarding Utilizations, Labor Report, email, and PM Dashboard

  • Keep staff informed of company policies, procedures, and developments

  • Establish trust and communication by listening

  • Foster safety, mentoring, authenticity, and accountability within the team and throughout the company

  • Perform other duties as assigned


What you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of five years of experience managing people

  • Minimum of five years of project management experience on industrial service, emergency response and/or transportation and disposal projects

  • Minimum of ten years of experience working within refineries.

  • Minimum of ten years of experience working with vacuum trucks and hydroblasting equipment

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret general documents, safety rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Frequently lift 25+ pounds over an 8-hour period; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds for less than one hour

  • Able to engage in strenuous daily activities in confined workspaces Preferred

  •  Current Class A or B commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement

  • Effective and demonstrated technical writing and data analysis/management skills

  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training

  • Ability to work on fast-paced projects and supply a quality deliverable that exceeds customer expectations

  • Ability to foster friendly, positive, productive, and team relationships

  • Outstanding customer service and written / verbal communication skills


Salary/Rate Range: $90,000 - $140,000
