Overview:
We are searching for a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a leader in industrial steam systems. This role is responsible for selling the company’s products and services within a defined geographic region, achieving or exceeding sales goals. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain relationships with manufacturer’s representatives and end users, leveraging their professional sales and technical background to drive results.


What you will be doing:

  • Sales Planning: Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve business objectives.

  • Representative Management: Build and maintain relationships with manufacturer’s representatives to drive sales initiatives.

  • Lead Development: Identify and cultivate new leads within the assigned region.

  • Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with end users to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Proposal Writing: Prepare and present detailed proposals to potential customers.

  • Closing Sales: Employ consultative sales techniques to close deals effectively.

  • Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering solutions that meet their operational and technical requirements.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with external customers.

  • Proven success presenting information to various audiences, including executives, employees, and clients.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • General knowledge of industrial steam system flow and controls.

  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics and general business accounting principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within an organization.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with business applications.
