Overview:
Our client is a global leader in semiconductor packaging and test services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated insurance risk manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial stability and risk management efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in risk management with interest in treasury operations, contributing to the company's strategic goals and operational excellence. This position will report directly the Vice President, Finance & Treasury. 


What you will be doing:
Risk Management

  • Oversee and enhance the corporate-wide insurance risk management program.

  • Evaluate, select, and manage third-party risk management services, including brokers, actuaries, claims administrators, and loss prevention specialists.

  • Perform risk evaluations by comparing potential risks with company criteria such as costs and legal requirements.

  • Analyze and implement appropriate risk management, transfer, financing, or other methods to mitigate potential losses.

  • Assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risks.

  • Verify, track, and process program contracts, agreements, and invoices.

  • Report, manage, and resolve loss claims with insurance carriers.

Treasury Operations Management:

  • Assist with daily cash operations, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations. 


What you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, law, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field (e.g., risk manager, loss control, financial analysis).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in a public company with a large manufacturing and global footprint is a plus. 


Nice to have:

  • Industry designation such as Associate in Risk Management, Certified Risk Manager, or CPCU is a plus.

  • Past experience in treasury operations and cash management is preferred.
