Overview:
Our client is a global leader in semiconductor packaging and test services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated insurance risk manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial stability and risk management efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in risk management with interest in treasury operations, contributing to the company's strategic goals and operational excellence. This position will report directly the Vice President, Finance & Treasury.
What you will be doing:
Risk Management
-
Oversee and enhance the corporate-wide insurance risk management program.

Evaluate, select, and manage third-party risk management services, including brokers, actuaries, claims administrators, and loss prevention specialists.

Perform risk evaluations by comparing potential risks with company criteria such as costs and legal requirements.

Analyze and implement appropriate risk management, transfer, financing, or other methods to mitigate potential losses.

Assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risks.

Verify, track, and process program contracts, agreements, and invoices.

Report, manage, and resolve loss claims with insurance carriers.
Treasury Operations Management:

Assist with daily cash operations, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
What you must have:

Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, law, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field (e.g., risk manager, loss control, financial analysis).

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience in a public company with a large manufacturing and global footprint is a plus.
Nice to have:

Industry designation such as Associate in Risk Management, Certified Risk Manager, or CPCU is a plus.

Past experience in treasury operations and cash management is preferred.
