Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by building strong relationships with customers and driving revenue growth. As a Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and closing deals. You will manage complex sales cycles, engaging with clients at various levels to ensure their needs are met while achieving and exceeding sales targets.


What you will be doing:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while following up on leads provided by the marketing team.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Prepare and deliver proposals, conduct presentations, and close sales effectively.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and position solutions that align with their goals.

  • Trade Show & Conference Participation: Represent the company at events to expand visibility and build a professional network.

  • Travel: Regular travel (up to 67%) within the region, including occasional long-distance trips.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or working with external clients in a consultative capacity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with solid overall computer skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and present to diverse audiences.

  • Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

  • Comfortable with occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region and work outdoors as needed.


Salary/Rate Range: $95,000 - $100,000
