Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client's team. This position involves operating and maintaining manual machining equipment to fabricate, modify, and repair components for aviation and other applications. What you will be doing:

Operate manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to produce and modify precision parts.

Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining processes.

Set up and adjust machinery to ensure proper alignment and calibration.

Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure adherence to strict tolerances and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address design and production needs.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and company protocols.
What you must have:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is preferred.

3+ years of experience as a manual machinist, preferably in aviation, aerospace, or a related industry.

Proficiency in operating manual machine tools and interpreting technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
