Base Salary Range: $80000 - $95000

What you will be doing:

• Prepare tax provisions schedules, tax and information returns, payments calculation, reports and maintain the company’s database

• Prepares and reviews working paper files to support tax filings

• Coordinates and works with external advisors

• Assists Management with projects and implementation of strategies

• Ensures that companies comply with federal, provincial and municipal tax regulations

• Keep up-to-date and shares knowledge with tax changes and industry trends

What you must have:

• CPA designated

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work

• Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines

• Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook

• Proficient in Corporate TaxPrep

• Past work experience at public practice is preferable

• Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 - $95,000
