Overview:
Our client is an international mining technology company with research and development operations in the Vancouver area. Due to continued growth, they require the immediate services of an experienced Project Manager. As Project Manager, your mission is to ensure the successful execution of vehicle electrification projects from initiation to completion. You will serve as a leader, facilitator, and problem-solver, dedicated to achieving the project objectives while effectively managing resources and risks.
 

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for delivering electrification projects according to our client’s project delivery model. 

• Hold ultimate responsibility for ensuring your projects under PMO (Project Management Office) organization are delivered on time, on budget, and all key deliverables are achieved. 

• Work with engineering organization management to proactively solve issues, implement improvements, and ensure interface is strong and collaborative.

• Develop a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets.

• Organize and manage team members, stakeholders, and resources to ensure collaboration and communication. 

• Oversee the implementation of the project plan, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.

• Track project progress, identify any issues or risks, and implement necessary adjustments to stay aligned with project goals. 

• Ensure that deliverables meet specified quality standards and requirements.

• Maintain communication with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure proper project closure, including final deliverables, evaluations, and documentation.

 
What you must have:

•  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, and other relevant/related fields will be considered. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is considered beneficial.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi- disciplinary projects from concept to first product delivery. 

• Experience with electrification systems, high voltage design, equipment selection, and product development is preferred

• Demonstrated success in leading project teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall Hybrid).

• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc.

• Strong understanding and experience with project lifecycle management from initiation to closure.

  
Salary/Rate Range: $110,000-150,000 base salary plus benefits.
