What you will be doing:

Provide 1st and 2nd level Front Office and Risk production system support on Murex 3.1 instance

Work on a variety of Murex system implementation, configuration and developments in various aspects of Murex including pre-trade, RTBS and MDCS, simulations, pricing, static data and GOM setup

Coordinate and communicate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements

Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience

Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements

Perform technical reviews of production changes

Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within confluence
-
Deal directly with business users across the bank including front, middle and back office, finance, product control and risk to analyse and diagnose business critical issues

Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, fixings and reporting
-
Provide detailed information about issues to the vendor, and co-ordinates with them in testing fixes / solutions

Act as an intermediary between business and vendor
What you must have:
-
Minimum 8 years Murex FO experience
-
Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.

Background in the following business areas: FO Modules of Murex
-
E-Tradepad, Simulation, Viewers, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices, etc.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with excellent communication

The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience for a minimum of 8 years.

Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills

Strong team player with excellent communication & inter-personal skills.

Strong problem solver who can question and understand proposed solutions and business drivers.

Strong organizational and leadership skills
Nice to have:

Knowledge of Control-M

Knowledge of datamart and running feeders/extractions

Market Data management

Knowledge in SQL (Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus
