Our client is a leading supplier of process and analytical instrumentation, serving industrial markets across Canada for 30+ years. They specialize in providing complete instrumentation and analytical solutions for various industries, including oil and gas, chemical, power, pulp and paper, cement, mining, and municipal sectors. With multiple offices nationwide, they pride themselves on offering a full range of services, including systems integration, project commissioning, training, repair, and sales. On their behalf we are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Inside Sales Representative specializing in instrumentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, generating accurate quotations and sales orders, and collaborating closely with the outside sales team to provide exceptional customer service. This role requires a deep understanding of process instrumentation and the ability to offer tailored solutions to meet client needs.


What you will be doing:

  • Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing technical information and assistance to determine appropriate solutions.

  • Quotation and Order Management: Prepare accurate quotations and process sales orders efficiently, ensuring customer requirements are met.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to coordinate order processing and deliver optimal solutions.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of process instrumentation to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and application support.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to customers.


What you must have:

  • Diploma in a relevant technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a technical sales environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of process instrumentation and related products.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work well under pressure.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.


Salary/Rate Range: $70,000 - $85,000
