We are a North America-wide recruitment agency. We pride ourselves on assisting our clients to find and place the best candidates. Currently, we are recruiting Psychiatric Technicians for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in California. 

What you will be doing:

• Providing general behavioural and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients/youth.

• Conducting daily clinical rounds to monitor patients with mental illness symptoms.

• Participating in treatment teams to develop treatment plans and objectives.

• Coordinating with custody personnel to manage mentally or developmentally disabled patients/youth.

• Preparing and coordinating clinical appointment schedules and assisting in ensuring patient attendance.

• Completing all required documentation accurately and thoroughly.

What you must have:

• At least 1 year of licensed experience within the last three (3) years

• Driver’s License or Passport Identification  

• Possess and maintain a current and valid license issued by the California Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians to perform services in the State of California.

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
