Overview:
A leading healthcare technology team is seeking two senior QA/Test Managers to lead the testing of mission-critical Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to drive quality assurance strategy and execution for a complex, high-visibility project. Ideal candidates will bring deep experience in manual and automated QA, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and domain knowledge in EHR workflows, healthcare data standards, and regulatory compliance.


What you will be doing:

  • Leading all phases of QA planning, execution, and reporting for a comprehensive EHR implementation

  • Overseeing test case development, UAT preparation, and alignment with business requirements

  • Creating detailed test plans for unit, integration, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing

  • Writing and automating scripts for workflows including practice management, clinical, interface, and billing

  • Collaborating with IT teams, developers, and clinical stakeholders to ensure smooth testing cycles

  • Managing defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test metrics reporting using tools like ALM and JIRA

  • Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to QA team members

  • Ensuring compliance with data standards (HL7 FHIR preferred) and system interoperability

  • Supporting efforts related to data migration testing and workflow validation

  • Facilitating test automation using tools such as UFT, Selenium, and Katalon


What you must have:

  • 9+ years of QA leadership experience in software testing, with a focus on EHR systems

  • Strong skills in automation and manual test script development using UFT and SQL

  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, SAAS testing, and performance metrics

  • Experience with HL7 FHIR, REST APIs, data validation, and end-to-end integration testing

  • Proven ability to lead test strategy across multiple testing types (unit, regression, smoke, UAT, etc.)

  • Expertise in defect management, reporting, and stakeholder communication

  • Prior experience mentoring QA team members and creating training documentation

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, accessibility, and federal/state data guidelines

  • Experience working in a public sector or state agency environment (preferred)
