Overview:
A mission-driven education agency is seeking a skilled TSDS Systems Analyst to support critical user acceptance testing (UAT), production stability reviews, and high-level customer support for state-funded educational data systems. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for someone with a background in UAT testing, education data standards, and resolving complex technical support escalations.


What you will be doing:

  • Leading the creation and execution of test plans and scripts based on stakeholder requirements
  • Identifying and documenting issues in UAT and collaborating with development teams on fixes
  • Performing post-deployment production checks to ensure feature stability and performance
  • Investigating and resolving Level 3 technical support tickets related to educational data systems
  • Collaborating across QA, dev, and customer service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Analyzing root causes of issues in test and production environments and recommending improvements
  • Utilizing tools such as SQL, JIRA, Postman, Swagger, and TOAD for testing and troubleshooting
  • Supporting continuous improvement of support processes through documentation and feedback

What you must have:
  • 7+ years of experience in UAT testing, technical analysis, and QA methodology
  • Strong proficiency in system architecture concepts and scripting for testing/troubleshooting
  • Extensive experience using QA and testing tools such as SQL, JIRA, Swagger, TOAD, and Postman
  • In-depth knowledge of Texas education standards and domains (TEA, data requirements, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with analytical thinking and defect resolution
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills, particularly around QA findings and escalation tracking
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Preferred: experience in automated testing frameworks and technical QA automation
