Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Backhoe and Trackhoe Operators to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by operating and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. With your expertise, you will help us to complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest level of quality. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including backhoes, to complete construction projects

  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

  • Ensure that equipment is well-maintained and in good working order

  • Collaborate with other team members, including construction workers and engineers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

  • Read and interpret plans and blueprints to ensure that projects are completed accurately

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and job site reports

  • Communicate effectively with other team members, clients, and stakeholders

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and increase efficiency


What you must have:

  • +5 years experience as an Operator

  • Certification in heavy equipment operation

  • Knowledge of construction site safety practices

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends

  • Physical stamina and strength

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Attention to detail and precision

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in outdoor conditions
