Overview:
Our client is looking for a Junior Telecommunications Analyst to join their team for a 2-to-3-month contract period. This position works collaboratively with the existing onsite team located Southern Maine. The Telecom Analyst will assist in implementing a new communications system at our clients site.
What you will be doing:
Configuration & Deployment
-
Support the implementation and management of telecom systems, ensuring seamless operation

Package and deliver telephony equipment to multiple client facilities in Southern Maine and the Seacoast area in New Hampshire

Perform basic rack mounting and wiring of various telephony equipment in structure wiring closets.

Document and maintain accurate records of telecom inventory, contracts, and service agreements

Provide support and project coordination for telecom-related initiatives, including upgrades and installations

Telephone handset configuration and installation, including voice mail End User Support
-
Provide general telephone support; adds, moves, and changes before and after the Ring Central go-live

Collaborate with senior analysts to troubleshoot telecom service issues and propose effective solutions

End user support and deskside training on hardware and software
-
Work with various third-party service providers to resolve customer service issues affecting delivery of telephone services to end users

Make simple repairs to equipment
What you must have:
-
1 to 3+ years’ experience in supporting telephone equipment.

Technology knowledge and experience working with premise and cloud based UCaaS solutions.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various telecommunication technologies.

Familiarity with voicemail, ACD, and call center applications.

Proven customer service skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis

Familiarity with telecom management software and tools

Basic understanding of network troubleshooting tools and methodologies

Required Education: Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role requires successful candidates to be based in-person at our clients site in York, Maine
