Overview:
Our client is undergoing a digital transformation, implementing Workday as its new ERP solution for HR, Payroll, and Finance and a key component of this project is conducting robust testing to ensure the quality of the Workday implementation. The testing strategy will include complete end-to-end system testing, including business processes, system usage, data conversion, inbound/outbound integrations, reports, user access and payroll parallel testing.
What you will be doing:

Developing and managing a comprehensive test plan that covers all test phases and approval processes.

Coordinating the creation of test scenarios, ensuring a complete set of test cases is ready for execution in each relevant test phase.

Creating and implementing test lifecycle processes and tools to support the execution of tests across all phases.

Maintaining and organizing an inventory of test cases throughout the project lifecycle.

Leading day-to-day testing activities, including defect management, and utilizing project escalation processes to address critical and high-priority issues.

Tracking and reporting progress for each test phase, including the defect log, to various project governance levels.

Using JIRA for defect tracking and management, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.

Generating and delivering reports on defects and test cycle progress to keep stakeholders informed.

Developing test scripts and use cases as needed to support the project team.

Delivering any additional materials or reports as requested by the project manager.
What you must have:

Proven ability to lead quality assurance efforts for intricate projects, particularly ERP implementation initiatives.

Proven experience in creating comprehensive test plans and establishing testing processes that effectively support complex ERP implementations.

Hands-on experience with the Workday HCM and Finance modules.

Proficient in using JIRA to track test progress and defect status.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
