Overview:
We are looking for a Salesforce Contractor to join our client's Operations & Client Solutions team supporting Sales for 5 hours a day across a 3 month engagement, with a potential for extension. Must be able to work 8:30-1:30 PST.
What you will be doing:
Salesforce Configuration and Customization:

Design and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.

Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or other appropriate technologies.

Collaborate with business analysts, admins, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the platform is secure, stable, and scalable through proper testing, documentation, and governance.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support ongoing system maintenance.

Participate in code reviews, deployments, and team stand-ups following Agile/Scrum best practices.

Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend improvements.
What you must have:

2+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator and using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), visualforce, and flows

Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing cloud

Familiarity with Salesforce security model and data architecture.

Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
-
Experience with data modeling and management in Salesforce (e.g., schema design, validation rules, sharing rules).

Salesforce Administrator certification (required).

Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other Salesforce certifications (required).

Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, workflows, and business process automation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data management expertise.

Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Data Loader, and third-party Salesforce apps.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and to influence stakeholders.

Highly proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
