What you will be doing:

  • Review and manage construction safety management plans.

  • Review and manage environmental, health and management plans in accordance with safety-related laws, regulations, and standards. The safety management plan includes safety training and guidelines for internal staff, and they also prepare environmental, health and safety management reports.

  • Management of ISO 45001 certification.

  • Develop and implement safety training programs.

  • Contributes recommendations and suggestions for work method improvements, safety, materials, and tools.

  • Leadership and management of all Environmental, Health and Safety employees and organization (e.g. Fire Protections Engineer(s), Telecommunications Engineer(s), etc.)

 
What you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Technical College or Trade Program preferred

  •  A minimum of 6+ years of experience in environmental engineering, safety engineering, or related experience and regulatory compliance practice.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing cleanroom utility equipment, facility optimization, energy-saving planning, and utility operations.

  • Previous experience in legal appointments and licensing related to trade-specific management.

  • Past experience in implementing overall safety management for outsourced construction projects (including TFT).

  • Strongly preferred experience in facility management and maintenance of semiconductor/advanced manufacturing facilities

  • Ability to review and manage construction project safety management plans.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety-related laws and regulations.

  • Team building, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and listening communications skills across functional departments and with external customers, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Computer skills including MS Office with the ability to operate corporate email, spreadsheets, word processing, engineering drawing databases at a highly proficient level.

  • Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed for business purposes, or to be called-in to work in the event of emergency or business needs.
